Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred, hands‑on care
- Support residents with personal care and daily living
- Safely assist with lifting, transferring, repositioning and mobility
- Lead and support the day care team, acting as a role model
- Observe, monitor and record residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing
- Report any changes promptly to senior staff or nursing team
- Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene and professionalism
- Promote the positive reputation of the home at all times
- Uphold our Philosophy of Care and professional codes of conduct
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in residential or nursing care
- Confident in leading a team and supporting colleagues
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Medication trained
- Friendly, warm and able to put residents at ease
- Good understanding of basic healthcare and hygiene standards
- Self‑motivated, organised and able to work well within a team
