Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linen as required
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and laundry handling
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans when necessary
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is desirable
