Ward 22 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic 24-bedded Gastroenterology ward providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and other digestive disorders.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will assist in caring for patients admitted both acutely and electively, gaining valuable experience in managing a variety of gastroenterology conditions and supporting patients before and after investigations and procedures such as endoscopy.
This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical knowledge and develop your skills within a supportive and forward-thinking team. You will be involved in maintaining patient hygiene, monitoring and recording observations, supporting delegated clinical tasks, assisting with nutrition and hydration, and ensuring the ward remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
