Reach Recruitment are currently recruiting for Greenhouse Operatives for our client in Home on Spalding Moor – YO43.
Location:YO43
Pay:£12.71
Duration: 6 Weeks minimum
Start Date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm , with the occasional weekend work here and there depending on production needs.
The days for this position can vary depending on production/deliveries. The peak periods will be expected to work 5 days but there may be weeks where there are fewer days to work.
This is a hands-on role working in a greenhouse environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transplanting bulbs into larger pots to support plant growth
- General crop maintenance, including planting and watering
- Picking, packing, and preparing produce for dispatch
- General greenhouse upkeep and cleaning
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Hardworking and reliable
- Comfortable working in a warm, humid environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- No experience required – full training provided
- Flexibility with hours
