This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive, friendly and kind specialist team offering Autism and ADHD assessments to children age 5 - 17yrs 9 months in Buckinghamshire.
The team has worked hard on a new model of assessment to ensure we offer assessments using a neuro affirmative approach. we have developed a model in consultation with parents/ cares and young people that places the family at the centre of our processes. we have ensured our processes and language used is strengths led whilst considering the environment in which we work alongside being transparent with families what they can expect from our service.
Applicants will be joining the team at an exciting time as we embed this model alongside regular reflection and review.

To support and be supported by the team to carry out neurodevelopmental assessments alongside a multi agency team consisting of occupational therapists, psychologists, paediatricians, nurses and social worker. we pride ourselves on being a supportive team who will offer you a comprehensive induction plan to build skills and confidence to enable quality assessments for our children and young people.

to take part in MDT meeting to consider diagnosis alongside an understanding of other presenting issue
to work in the wider structure of CAHMS to identify any further support and carry out any other relevant referrals
to keep accurate up to date records on RIO
to complete diagnostic reports and letters to a high standard, written to the child using language which is strengths based and can be understood by the child
