The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead the launch and day-to-day operations of an exciting new Manor House Hotel in Falkirk. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing an exceptional guest experience, building a strong team, and driving operational excellence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff across departments
- Manage front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance operations
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability
- Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and service standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
About You
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a 4–5 star hotel
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance targets
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
- Knowledge of hospitality systems and operational best practices
- A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Experience in refurbishment projects (advantageous)
