We are seeking to a full-time apprentice to work within our team. The successful candidate will work with children between the ages of 4-11 in a school setting to deliver high quality Physical Education lessons along with extracurricular breakfast, lunch and after school clubs.
The successful applicant will play a key role within the school setting. Becoming an important figure within the school staff, able to independently teach Physical Education to all classes of children aged between 4-11, whilst always having critical attention to detail and transparent communication between the school staff.
The successful candidate would also be required to support and deliver Holiday Camp activities as part of a team, during the half term holidays.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 years old and must hold English, Maths and Science GCSE of grade 4 or above
Training
Successful candidates will be enrolled in a Level 4 School Sports Apprenticeship which will include sector specific skills such as multi-skills coaching, practical coaching, lesson planning, session development, behaviour management etc. Successful Candidates will also undertake on the job training with continuous professional development throughout the course of their apprenticeship including specific sports qualification.
This role includes a minimum of 6 hours a week of personal development and on the job training.
Working Hours
During term time, working hours include 2 days a week 07:30-16:30 and 3 days a week 08:30-16:30
Out of term time working hours will be between 07:30– 16:30 Monday – Friday
This will be discussed and clarified in our initial interview process.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver high quality Physical Education lessons.
· Plan curricular overview to meet the schools’ specific needs.
· Deliver extracurricular clubs.
· Deliver holiday camps as part of a team.
· Termly assessments of pupil’s progression.
· Support and run tournament events.
· Be open to obtaining SEN based qualifications and skills to support schools.
· Clear and effective communication with school and company staff.

Salary
£16,000 per annum for first year which progresses onto the company pay performance structure inline with age after successful completion of initial apprenticeship year
