Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Periodic Inspection & Testing (EICRs), maintenance, and remedial works. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience carrying out EICRs in both commercial and domestic properties. You must be able to commute easily to the office in Surbiton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic inspection and testing (EICRs) to current regulations.
- Accurately complete and submit test certificates using approved software.
- Diagnose and carry out remedial works in line with findings.
- Perform general electrical maintenance and fault finding.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and office-based support.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience carrying out EICRs (domestic & commercial).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
