Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various business locations in the Greater Glasgow area. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries.
Duties
- Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated business locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Conduct daily routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with customers.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and customers.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
