The role
As our People Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to managers and employees across both Landside and Airside operations. You'll provide expert advice and coaching on a wide range of people matters, support managers to confidently lead their teams, and help deliver an outstanding employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. Alongside day-to-day HR support, you'll play an important role in driving process improvements, embracing new technology and supporting people initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture and business success.
The responsibilities are not limited to but will include:

Partner with managers and supervisors across Landside and Airside operations to provide expert HR advice, guidance and coaching

Support managers in managing employee relations matters

Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, systems and ways of working, leveraging HR technology, automation and AI to enhance manager and employee self-service while reducing manual administration

Responsible for the effective administration of people-related transactional processes across the employee lifecycle, including contract changes, transfers and leavers

Work with the People Business Partners and Recruitment Advisor to provide advice and support to all stakeholders on the development and implementation of effective recruitment and selection strategies

Support People Business Partners in workforce planning, organisational development and change initiatives

Provide People focused training and advice to the organisation’s managers and supervisors

Support the development and creation of mutually reinforcing People related policies and processes that provide a modern, best practice framework for the effective management of people

Ensure that standard operating procedures and process flows are developed and embedded into our ways of working

Develop positive employee relations, fostering a collaborative approach with the organisation’s recognised Trade Unions
-
Contribute to the delivery of the organisation’s reward and benefit strategy including overseeing end to end benefits administration

Liaise with occupational health, physiotherapy, pension and insurance providers
Who we are looking for

Relationship-focused, collaborative and enjoys problem solving

Professional, calm, and resilient when dealing with challenging or complex queries

Previous experience in a similar role is essential

Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders

A background in a highly regulated business environment would be an advantage (especially aviation)

CIPD level 5 qualification
