As The Little Shed continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our friendly team. If you love great coffee, enjoy chatting with customers, and thrive in a busy café environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing a warm, friendly experience
- Talking through cake counter flavours and answering menu or dietary questions
- Taking card, contactless, and cash payments
- Preparing a variety of drinks including coffees, hot chocolates, and milkshakes
- Preparing and packaging afternoon teas, cakes, and traybakes
- Maintaining excellent customer service at all times
- Restocking displays and supplies
- Keeping all areas clean, sanitised, and compliant with food safety regulations
- Washing pots and assisting with general daily duties
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
About You
- Experienced in using a coffee machine
- Previous customer service experience
- Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with customers
- Strong communication skills
- Calm, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive team player with a great attitude
Hours
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
