We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the delivery of Next Home furnishings safely and on time while helping to create a great experience for our customers.
- Working as part of a two-person delivery team, helping to deliver Next Home furnishings directly to customers' homes.
- Assisting with the loading, unloading, and safe handling of home furnishing products ranging from 5kg to 120kg.
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery and acting as a brand ambassador for DHL and Next.
- Staying in contact with the transport team and completing delivery updates using handheld technology.
- Supporting the driver to complete between 10 and 40 deliveries per day while following all health and safety procedures.
- Are physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling throughout the day.
- Enjoy working in a customer-facing role and providing excellent service.
- Work well as part of a team and have a positive, can-do attitude.
- Can manage their workload effectively and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Have previous home delivery, warehouse, retail, or Driver's Mate experience, although full training will be provided.
