## Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our friendly 25-bed residential care home for elderly residents.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality person-centred care, maintaining compliance with CQC standards, supporting staff development, and promoting a safe and positive environment for residents, families, and staff.

## Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
- Lead, supervise, and support care staff and senior staff members
- Maintain high standards of care and safeguarding
- Conduct staff training, supervision, and appraisals
- Manage care plans, risk assessments, and resident wellbeing
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies
- Support occupancy and admissions processes
- Monitor budgets and general home performance
- Promote a positive and compassionate culture within the home
## Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a care home setting
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach
## Desirable
- Experience managing elderly residential care services
- Experience with audits, safeguarding, and staff management
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
