Job description - Greenkeeper
Location - Southampton
Rota: Monday - Friday
Salary - £26,500 - £30,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Greenkeeper looking to utilise your skill set and professional ground care machinery knowledge within a new role?
About your new role:
- Preparing and maintaining playing surfaces for training sessions and matches
- Performing minor construction and landscaping tasks under guidance
- Operating and maintaining grounds machinery and equipment
- Ensuring safe and correct use, storage, and disposal of chemicals and pesticides (if licensed)
- Supporting and executing seasonal and weekly turf care programmes
- Conducting basic risk assessments and responding appropriately in emergencies
- Supervising part-time staff and ensuring high safety and work standards
- Adhering to all safeguarding policies relating to children and vulnerable adults
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Product knowledge within a Ground care environment i.e Grounds Manager or Greenkeeper & previous sales experience in a similar role
- Full UK driving licence
