South Devon Construction Group is looking for a highly experienced Senior Carpenter / Working Foreman to join our team on a self-employed basis.
This is a hands-on role for an accomplished carpenter who can deliver exceptional workmanship while confidently overseeing day-to-day activities on site. You will work closely with our Project Manager, coordinate trades where required and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Our projects include renovations, extensions, conversions and general building work across both modern and heritage properties.
Requirements
- Extensive professional carpentry and joinery experience
- Previous experience as a senior or highly experienced carpenter/tradesmen
- Strong first-fix, second-fix and general joinery skills
- Experience working on both modern and heritage buildings
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Confident leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, professional and able to communicate clearly
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Will travel to projects within approximately one hour of Newton Abbot
- Ability to work on a self-employed basis
Pay: £300.00 per day
