About the role
Job Title: Catering Assistant
School Location: Westonbirt School, Tetbury, GL8 8QG
Working Days: 5 days out of 7- including weekends
Shifts & Working hours: Various Shifts 9am-5pm/ 10am-6pm/ 11.30am-7.30pm, 12noon-8pm (40 Hrs)
Working Weeks: 52 weeks per year
Pay Details: £27,040 per Annum
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our high-standard catering teams, helping deliver fresh, beautifully presented meals to students in our independent schools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks to a high standard
- Assisting with plating, presentation, and counter service
- Supporting the kitchen team with food prep
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen and dining area
- Providing friendly and professional service to all students and staff
- Experience in catering or hospitality (School catering is prefereable but not essential)
- A passion for food and high standards
- Teamwork skills and reliability
- Flexible approach to working hours to support school schedules
