Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and personable Reservations & Sales Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing guest reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting sales initiatives within our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Previous experience in a similar role an advantage. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and fostering positive relationships with our guests.
Duties
- Handle guest reservations efficiently via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide outstanding guest services by addressing enquiries, offering personalised recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain up-to-date reservation records and manage room allocations to optimise occupancy rates
- Assist with sales activities by promoting hotel services and special offers to prospective guests
- Support the front desk team with administrative tasks such as processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications
- Co-ordinate events such as conferences, meetings, weddings, group/tours and private functions. Acting as the main point of contact for event clients from the initial enquiry through to post event follow up/feedback stage
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure
- Conduct site visits and show rounds as and when required
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication at all times
- Contribute to the organisation of events or group bookings as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel reservations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional approach
- Knowledge of reservation management systems or hotel software is advantageous
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles will be considered an asset
This position offers an engaging work environment where your organisational talents and customer service skills will be valued. The successful candidate with work on site 5 days a week which will also include some weekend shifts.
Pay: £13.21 per hour
