About the Role
Mercy in Action is seeking a reliable Supervisor to assist the Shop Manager in the running of our Larkhall charity shop on Sundays. The role involves supporting sales performance, maintaining shop standards, and helping ensure the shop runs efficiently.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the achievement of daily sales targets and maximise Gift Aid
* Deliver a high standard of customer service
* Manage and rotate stock in line with company guidelines
* Maintain visual merchandising, displays, and window standards
* Follow the Retail Handbook and Health & Safety procedures
* Act as a key holder and ensure the security of cash, stock, staff, and premises
* Complete basic shop administration and report operational issues
* Support volunteers and assist with wider charity initiatives when required
This role may involve moderate bending, stretching, and lifting. Reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled applicants.
