We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet hygiene standards
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks in accordance with client requirements, including waste disposal and window cleaning
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas within specified timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional duties as required to support the overall cleanliness of the premises
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Experience working in hospital environments or healthcare settings is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
