About Us
Belperino is a new Italian and Mediterranean‑inspired restaurant opening at The Talbot this autumn. After extensive renovation, we’ve refreshed the building with a warm, modern feel while honouring its history and character. Our name means “little Belper” — reflecting our aim to build a welcoming, community‑focused space at the heart of the town.
We are now assembling our opening kitchen team and are looking for dedicated, passionate individuals to join us from the very beginning.
About the Role
We are recruiting Back of House team members across all levels, including:
- Chefs (all levels)
- Kitchen Assistants
- Prep Cooks
- Kitchen Porters
Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we encourage you to enquire. We’re building a supportive, friendly team where everyone plays an important role in delivering great food and a great experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Working with fresh ingredients inspired by Italian and Mediterranean flavours
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
- Assisting chefs during busy service periods
- Contributing to a positive, respectful kitchen environment
- Helping shape the kitchen culture of a brand‑new opening
