Business Admin level 3 Apprenticeship – Recruitment and General Administration
Salary: £8.55ph (reviews after 6 months)
Working hours: Tuesday – Friday (9am-5pm)

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Business Administration. You will play a key role in supporting our recruitment and general administrative functions, contributing to the smooth running of an office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Administration
- Assisting with the posting of job advertisements across various platforms.
- Screening CVs and applications under the guidance of the recruitment team.
- Scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates.
- Assisting with the thorough screening of candidates.
- Supporting with DBS Applications and keeping records.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and updating databases.
- Supporting the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, References and contracts.
General Administration
- Taking incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely responses.
- Assisting with the management of ad replies across various recruitment platforms.
- Contributing to local recruitment strategies via social media and community canvassing.
- Supporting the team with organising and maintaining filing systems, both digital and physical for Care workers and Office staff.
- Assisting with diary management, meeting scheduling, and minute-taking.
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring the workspace remains organised.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.
Team Support
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for process improvements.
- Shadowing Recruitment Officer, Quality & Compliance Manager and Other Senior team members to gain insight into best practices and procedures.

Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, preferably at grade C/4 or above.
- A strong interest in administration and recruitment.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
