Overview
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of vans, machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Salary depends on experience.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on cars, vans , machinery and equipment to identify issues early
- Diagnose mechanical problems accurately using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move parts or equipment as needed for repairs or installations
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used for accountability and future reference
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
