Moor Fabrications is a manufacturing company based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. We specialise in plastic fabrication techniques, such as thermoplastic welding, pipe fusion, line-bending, machining and CNC operations. These processes allow us to apply the unique properties of plastics to larger products and smaller batch production runs, without the associated tooling costs of moulding techniques – making us an ideal supplier of bespoke industrial equipment.
As plastic fabrication processes are relatively niche, we do not expect all of our new starters to have worked with our tooling before. However, any previous experience working with plastics - or working in any kind of bespoke fabrication environment - would be desirable. Plastic welding is a clean, safe and easy to learn process – but it takes practice, patience and focus to master it.
Candidates with relevant backgrounds or technical qualifications will be given the opportunity to progress into supervisory positions. Given time, you will be trained and encouraged to progress into supervisory roles, project management, site-surveying/installation, quoting and cost-estimation, or anything else that can help support our team.
