Job Summary
Due to continued growth, LG Howson Ltd is looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundworks Labourer to join our expanding team.
We undertake a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects across Dorset, Hampshire, and the surrounding areas, working on both commercial and residential developments.
The Role
You will assist our groundworks teams with a wide range of tasks including:
- Site preparation and clearance
- Assisting with drainage, foundations and utility installations
- Loading and unloading materials
- Operating hand tools and small plant (where qualified)
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work site
- Supporting groundworkers, machine operators and site supervisors
- General labouring duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous construction or groundworks experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour
