Job Summary
Working Hours: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering prescriptions and pharmaceutical products to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
This role requires excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring that patients receive their medications promptly and safely.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver prescriptions and pharmaceutical supplies to care homes
- Ensure accurate and secure handling of all deliveries, maintaining the integrity of medications during transit
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, confirming receipt and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, including times, signatures, and any delivery issues encountered
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to delivery operations and health & safety standards
