Job Overview
Due to ongoing projects and new contracts.We are seeking a experienced and reliable Ground Worker to join our team, the successful candidate will have good knowledge of all aspects of groundworks including foundations, drainage and disabled ramps .
Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment including excavators and irrigation systems
- Supporting construction activities by preparing sites, digging trenches, and laying foundations
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and construction equipment such as excavators are advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance procedures
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
