HZS Stainless Steel Ltd require a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our specialist and fast growing team, manufacturing stainless fixings for use throughout the UK
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components working to provided drawings and specifications.
- Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal parts and structures.
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures along with maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of sheet metal properties and handling.
- Must hold relevant welding qualifications
