Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable self-employed window blind fitter to help cover fitting work across Bridlington and the surrounding areas.
Experience fitting blinds would be useful, but it is not essential. If you are practical, switched on, good with your hands, and comfortable working in customers’ homes, we can teach you the fitting side properly.
The role will start with fitting only, but there is a clear opportunity to move into measuring and selling once you become more experienced. Any full-price sales you bring in will earn 10% commission.
You will be fitting all common types of made-to-measure window blinds, including roller blinds, vertical blinds, Venetian blinds, day and night blinds, blackout blinds, and other domestic blind products.
What We’re Looking For:
- Practical, reliable person with common sense
- Clean and tidy appearance
- Comfortable working in customers’ homes
- Good attention to detail
- Able to leave every job clean, tidy, and properly finished
- Own tools preferred
- Driving licence required
- Happy to travel within approx. 1.5 hours of Bridlington
- Previous blind fitting, joinery, handyman, or similar trade experience would be helpful but not essential
What’s Provided:

- OTE around £30,000 working 2-3 days per week

You do not need to be the finished article, but you do need to be reliable, presentable, practical, and willing to learn. This is ideal for someone who wants flexible self-employed work and the chance to build into a higher-earning fitting and sales role.
