Duties
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
- Provide direct patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Maintain precise records of medication inventory, prescriptions, and patient interactions to support seamless pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and ensure medication safety
- Support patient education initiatives by explaining medication instructions and addressing concerns
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to all regulatory standards and safety guidelines at all times
Skills
- Proven community pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medication dispensing processes
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, clear communication, and attentiveness to individual needs
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail for record keeping
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate seamlessly within teams
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems Rxweb (desirable- training will be provided)
Pay: £27,300.00-£29,000.00 per year
