Timber Window & Door Installer / Refurbishment Specialist
We are looking for a skilled timber window and door specialist to join our growing team, working on domestic properties across London and the surrounding areas.
The role involves repairing and refurbishing traditional timber windows and doors, installing new double-glazed timber sashes and doors, draught-proofing, and completing associated painting and finishing work.
You will often work independently in customers’ homes, so previous experience installing and refurbishing timber sash windows and doors is essential. You must be reliable, professional and confident managing work to a consistently high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Repairing and refurbishing timber sash windows and doors
- Installing new double-glazed timber sashes and joinery
- Draught-proofing, replacing sash cords and carrying out general repairs
- Preparing, painting and finishing new and existing joinery
- Using hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Working independently in customers’ homes
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and presentable
- Completing each project efficiently without compromising workmanship
Experience and skills:
- Proven experience in timber sash window and door installation or refurbishment
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills
- Good knowledge of traditional timber windows and building maintenance
- Confident using a range of hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Professional, reliable and respectful when working in customers’ homes
- Physically capable of carrying out lifting and installation work

Experience:
- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
