Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while supporting kitchen operations, including meal and food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for catering, cooking, and delivering high standards of food safety. Duties
- Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting with meal preparation and food presentation according to established standards
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking activities as needed
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
- Restocking supplies and maintaining stock levels for efficient service
- Packing takeaway orders accurately and quickly
- Occasionally helping create short social media videos (TikTok/Instagram) to promote the business
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or similar food service roles is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers and team members
- Basic kitchen experience, including food preparation and serving techniques
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service excellence
- Ability to work flexibly, including during busy periods
- Comfortable appearing in short social media videos occasionally
