Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Production Chef for our culinary team in delivering high-quality food products. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a thorough understanding of food safety standards. This role involves daily food production operations, working along with other kitchen staff, and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional dishes that meet our organisation’s standards. The Production Chef will play a vital role in maintaining a productive, efficient, and hygienic kitchen environment.

Duties
- We produce in-house, baked goods, frozen ready meals, fresh offering for our shops, jams & chutneys.
- Assist in all food production, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
- Work with Exec chef to develop and implement recipes incorporating a wide range of culinary techniques
- Help to manage food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
- Assist and oversee food preparation processes to meet deadlines and minimise waste
- Help monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Train new staff members on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and organisational standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Experience
- Proven experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Background in food production, cooking, and culinary arts
- Strong team skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Demonstrable experience in food preparation settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards recognised by relevant authorities
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering establishments is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with a production kitchen operations during high-volume periods

Pay: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
