Labourer – 2‑Week Engineering Decommissioning Project

Dates: Monday 20th July – Friday 31st July 2026
MechElecPro Solutions is seeking a reliable Labourer to support our engineering team during the decommissioning of a chemical testing facility in Birmingham. This short project requires someone who is safety‑focused, physically capable, and confident working in industrial environments.Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with dismantling and removal of test equipment
- Manual handling of materials, waste, and scrap
- Support strip‑out of benches, pipework, and ancillary systems
- Maintain safe, clean work areas
- Follow all site safety rules and PPE requirementsRequirements
- Previous labouring or industrial site experience
- Strong safety awareness
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Able to follow instruction and work as part of a team
- CSCS card preferred
Pay: £12.21-£16.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
