Mental Care Therapies is expanding its private neurodevelopmental services and is looking to engage an experienced ADHD clinician with independent prescribing rights to join our growing service.
We are particularly interested in clinicians with experience in child ADHD assessment, diagnosis, medication initiation, titration and ongoing medication management.
The role will initially focus primarily on ADHD assessments, with the opportunity to develop an ongoing medication-management caseload as the service grows. Medication reviews may be undertaken remotely where clinically appropriate.
Location: Colne, Lancashire + remote working where clinically appropriate
Hours: 1 day per week initially
Contract: Self-employed / independent contractor
We're looking for:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or appropriately qualified clinician
- Current NMC registration
- Independent/Supplementary Prescribing qualification appropriate to the role
- Demonstrable experience in ADHD assessment and treatment
- Experience with ADHD medication titration and monitoring
- Excellent clinical documentation and report-writing skills
- Professional indemnity insurance
- A collaborative and patient-centred approach
