Housekeeping plays an essential part in every guest’s stay. As our Room Attendant, you’ll help ensure our bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and ready to welcome each guest.

The Role
Joining our busy Housekeeping team on a casual basis, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a consistently high standard.
You’ll work carefully and efficiently to ensure every room is comfortable, welcoming and presented at its best. You may also assist with cleaning the hotel’s public areas when required.
As the hotel operates seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, flexibility with working days is essential.

As our Room Attendant, you’ll have...

Previous experience as a Cleaner or Room Attendant in a similar establishment.

Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

The motivation to work independently and the ability to contribute positively as part of a team.

Good verbal communication skills and a friendly, helpful manner.

A positive, flexible and reliable approach to work.

The physical ability to lift, bend and clean at both floor level and higher levels.

Flexibility to work according to the needs of a seven-day business.
What will you be doing as our Room Attendant?

Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a consistently high standard.

Ensuring rooms are comfortable, welcoming and beautifully presented for every guest.

Assisting with the cleaning of the hotel’s public areas when required.

Keeping linen rooms, trolleys and workspaces neat, tidy and well organised.

Responding confidently and helpfully to guests’ enquiries about their rooms and the hotel’s facilities.

Developing your knowledge of the hotel’s products, facilities and services.

Attending training and completing e-learning modules to build your skills and support your development.

Following all housekeeping, hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
Please note: there is no staff car parking on site at the hotel, but there is plenty of secure space to store bicycles, along with excellent access to local bus and train services.
