Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits

Overview
Shire are working in partnership with a well-established children's residential provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for an EBD children's home in Greater Manchester.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of the home, ensuring outstanding outcomes for the young people in your care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the children's home.
- Ensuring every young person has a personalised care plan that meets their emotional, educational, social, cultural, therapeutic and healthcare needs.
- Reviewing and updating placement plans to ensure they remain effective.
- Allocating Key Workers and monitoring the delivery of high-quality care.
- Building positive relationships with families, local authorities and other professionals.
- Managing the home's budget and ensuring resources are used effectively.
- Maintaining safe staffing levels and supporting the ongoing development of the team.
- Delivering thorough inductions and promoting continuous professional development.
- Ensuring the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted regulations, legislation and best practice.
- Providing strong leadership, supervision and support to the staff team.
