First Option Healthcare is currently recruiting compassionate, proactive Crisis Support Workers to join our rapidly growing team in Norwich.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide 1:1 support to adults and adolescents within both regulated and unregulated settings, making a genuine difference during times of crisis.
We are looking for candidates with experience supporting individuals with:
- Eating Disorders
- Learning Disabilities
- Mental Health Needs
- Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
- Drug and Alcohol Misuse

Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to psychological and emotional crises in adults and adolescents, using effective de-escalation and intervention techniques.
- Provide face-to-face crisis support in a range of environments, including homes, schools, hospitals, community settings, fostering placements, and unregulated placements.
- Build rapport and trust with service users and their families, helping to assess risks, stabilise crisis situations, and provide immediate emotional support.
- Work closely with Clinical Leads and multidisciplinary teams to ensure support plans are followed, with accurate documentation and timely escalation of any concerns.
- Liaise with a range of professionals, including schools, youth offending teams, social workers, and psychotherapists.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience working with adults or adolescents in a support or care setting.
- Minimum 1 year's experience supporting crisis packages (essential).
- PMVA Training (essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (essential).
