Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Work efficiently within allocated timeframes to meet cleaning schedules
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including early mornings or late afternoons if required
