Join our dynamic team as a 360 Operator and play a vital role in our construction and excavation projects! In this energetic position, you will operate a 360-degree excavator to move earth, load materials, and assist with site development. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy machinery will be essential in ensuring efficient, safe, and precise operations. Responsibilities
- Operate a 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently to perform digging, lifting, and material handling tasks on construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections of the machinery to ensure optimal functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, grading, and leveling surfaces as directed
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents or injuries
- Support other heavy equipment operations if needed, utilizing your mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Drive commercial vehicles as required for transporting equipment or materials between sites
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery, especially excavators
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator in construction or similar environments
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent for operating heavy vehicles on-site or between locations
- Ability to interpret site plans, safety instructions, and operational guidelines clearly
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in equipment operation
