We're working in close partnership with a welcoming and well-structured school in Sheffield to recruit a Cover Supervisor who can confidently manage classrooms and support learning across a range of subjects. This role is due to begin ASAP.

Whether you're already experienced in cover supervision or a graduate looking to gain in-school experience ahead of teacher training, this could be the perfect long-term role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
- Deliver pre-set work and maintain a positive, focused learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
- Build rapport with students and support their learning where needed
- Uphold school values and contribute to a consistent and respectful culture
What We're Looking For:
- DBS on the update service (essential)
- Previous experience working with young people in a school or youth setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm, confident and professional approach
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to the full school day
- A genuine interest in education and pupil development
