Atlas Restoration are a leading restoration company dealing with fire and water damage claims throughout the South East of England and are seeking a motivated and dependable BDMA Restoration Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering restoration works to domestic and commercial properties affected by fire, flood, or related incidents — primarily operating within the insurance sector.
This hands-on role requires strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in varied and sometimes challenging environments. You’ll work closely with clients, insurers, and your team to restore properties safely, thoroughly, and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients, both domestic and commercial, providing a high level of customer service.
- Cleaning, drying, and sanitising tasks following water, fire or accidental damage.
- Monitoring and installing drying equipment on-site.
- Strip out / deconstruction and removal of flooring, plasterboard, woodwork and other building materials for disposal.
- Providing assessments and reports, ensuring that all necessary documents, photographs, and communications are accurately recorded.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure a timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service to policyholders and other relevant parties.
A company vehicle and fuel card is provided along with a competitive salary.

Key Requirements:
Essential:
- Must be BDMA qualified
- Previous experience in fire and/or flood restoration.
- English (required), Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Full clean UK driving license (required)
- Reliable and adaptable; able to think on your feet and problem-solve in real time.
- Basic computer knowledge and strong administrative skills.
