As part of the Primary Quest Multi-Academy Trust, we are looking for dedicated teaching assistants with previous SEND experience to join our friendly team at Ann Cam Primary School. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs, including working 1:1 and in small groups and work as part of the team supporting the planning and delivery of learning opportunities that meet the needs of children including those with EHCPs. We are flexible on hours so if you are looking for part time or full school days, we would love to hear from you. ECTs are welcome to apply for either of these positions and there may be opportunities for supply cover. Teaching Assistants will be paid from £13.26 per hour dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Applicants should have:
· A nurturing, calm and positive approach to working with children
· Previous SEND teaching assistant experience
· An ability to motivate and inspire children
· A passion for helping children achieve their very best
· Be able to conduct and support learning in 1:1 and small group learning situations
· Communicate assessments and evaluations of learning to the class teacher and SENDCo
· An ability to build and maintain good relationships with children, parents and staff
