We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundworks Labourer to join our team in the Chippenham / Wiltshire area. The successful candidate will be involved in assisting with various groundworks tasks on site, supporting the team to ensure smooth project progress. Responsibilities
- Assisting with excavation, trenching, and site preparation work
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Supporting the team with general site clearance and tidying
- Assisting with the setting out of groundwork operations under supervision
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Using basic hand tools and machinery as required (training provided)
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Skills
- Previous experience in groundworks or construction is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good level of physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on site
- A valid UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
