Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to guarantee food safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Analyse products and processes, identifying areas for improvement and reporting findings to management.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance issues for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the development and review of quality assurance procedures, ensuring they are current and effective.
- Participate in internal audits and support external inspections as required.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness among staff through training and guidance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and implementation is essential.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with industry standards related to product safety and quality management systems.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality control or assurance are desirable but not mandatory.
