What You’ll be doing
Are you passionate about supporting disabled children, young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes? We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Disability Family Intervention Worker to join our Short Breaks Hub team.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide direct support to children, young people and families, working closely with partner agencies to assess needs, develop support plans, and help deliver meaningful interventions. You'll be confident managing a varied caseload, maintaining accurate records, completing assessments, and contributing to safeguarding and family support decision-making.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for someone with experience working with children and families in a social care, education or healthcare setting, strong communication and report-writing skills, and a good understanding of child development, safeguarding, equality and the Children Act. An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
