About the role
TDR Transport is looking for an experienced Rigid HIAB Driver to join our team at Dudley.
We are a FORS gold accredited transport company providing specialised logistics to the Construction, Plant and Engineering sectors.
What you'll be doing
- Loading, securing and delivering various items to customer sites
- Operating the HIAB crane safely, including offloading in tight and constrained site conditions
- Carrying out daily vehicle and crane checks, reporting defects promptly
- Completing paperwork, PODs and digital tachograph records accurately
- Working to site rules, RAMS and lifting plans
- Representing TDR Transport professionally with customers on site
What we're looking for
Essential
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) licence (Class 1 desirable)
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Recognised HIAB / lorry loader qualification (ALLMI or CPCS)
- Proven HIAB experience — comfortable with remote-controlled offloads on live sites
- Good understanding of load security and drivers' hours regulations
Desirable
- Slinger/signaller ticket
- CSCS card
- Experience delivering into [construction sites / merchants / domestic addresses]
- Class 1
