Looking for more than just a job?
At The Stag Dental & Wellbeing Centre, we're looking for someone who wants to start an exciting and rewarding career in dentistry.
You don't need previous dental experience.
What matters most to us is your attitude, your kindness and your willingness to learn.
Whether you're leaving school or college, looking for your first professional career, or considering a change from retail, hospitality, childcare or another customer-focused role, we'd love to hear from you.
We're not simply looking for an apprentice.
We're looking for someone who wants to become part of a team, develop professionally and grow with our practice for years to come.
About us
The Stag Dental & Wellbeing Centre is a modern, fully private dental practice just outside Salisbury with three beautifully equipped surgeries.
We believe dentistry is about much more than healthy teeth. It's about helping people smile with confidence and making every patient feel genuinely welcome from the moment they arrive.
We call this our "red carpet" experience.
As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for another fantastic team member to help us deliver that experience every single day.
What you'll learn
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll receive full support while completing a recognised Dental Nursing apprenticeship, arranged by the practice.
You'll gain experience in:
- Chairside dental nursing
- Preparing surgeries for treatment
- Looking after patients before, during and after appointments
- Instrument decontamination
- Digital dentistry and intraoral scanning
- Stock management and ordering
- Supporting compliance and practice organisation
- Working alongside our Implant Surgeon, Principal Dentist and Dental Therapist
- Advanced treatments including dental implants and cosmetic dentistry
- Opportunities to become involved with practice marketing and social media
- Future career progression into roles such as Treatment Coordinator (TCO)
Every day is different, and every day is an opportunity to learn something new.
Who we're looking for
We're searching for someone who is:
- Friendly, warm and approachable
- Calm and organised
- Positive and solution orientated
- Reliable and professional
- Eager to learn
- A great communicator
- Proud to work as part of a team
- Passionate about helping people
We can teach dentistry.
What we can't teach is kindness, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to care for others.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
