Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and personal support while conducting social media research and monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating communications, conducting online research, and identifying trends, opportunities, and insights across social media platforms. As well as some social media Reel editing and creating engaging posts.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, discretion, strong written communication abilities, and a solid understanding of social media platforms and digital trends.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistant Duties
- Manage calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting notes when required.
- Handle email correspondence and respond on behalf of the principal where appropriate.
- Organise and maintain digital files, records, and documents.
- Conduct general administrative tasks and support day-to-day operations.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders professionally.
- Assist with project coordination and follow-up actions.
- Organise travel arrangements and accommodation for the Directors and attend where required.
- Organise and where required attend meetings, ensuring action on any social media activities is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Social Media Responsibilities
- Research social media trends, emerging topics, influencers, and competitors.
- Monitor activity across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages across the above platforms where required, cultivating positive interactions and strengthening connections with online audiences
- Identify potential collaboration opportunities, partnerships, and industry developments.
- Gather and analyse audience insights and engagement trends.
- Prepare concise research reports and summaries.
- Support content planning by identifying relevant topics and industry conversations.
- Stay informed about platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or similar administrative role.
- Experience conducting social media research and online market research.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using social media analytics and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and digital marketing trends.
- Experience creating basic reports and presentations.
- Experience supporting entrepreneurs, executives, or business owners.
