Clinical Lead Nurse: 36 hours per week | Including 12 protected supernumerary hours.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive Clinical Lead Nurse to join our nursing home team. This is a varied role combining hands-on nursing with clinical leadership, staff support and oversight of care standards across the home. You will work closely with and support the Home Manager in both clinical and operational oversight. The role will include:
· Supporting and guiding the nursing team.
· Oversight of care plans, clinical documentation and standards of care.
· Completing and following up clinical audits.
· Supporting medication, wound care, falls, nutrition and infection control processes.
· Monitoring clinical standards and identifying areas for improvement.
· Supporting staff competency, supervision and development.
· Maintaining a visible clinical presence within the home.
· Participating in the home's on-call arrangements.
We are looking for a nurse who is organised, approachable, clinically confident, and able to take ownership of actions through completion. Good IT skills are essential, together with experience of electronic care planning, auditing, and clinical governance. Applicants must hold a current NMC registration.
