We are currently recruiting an Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Labourer in Scotland to support qualified electricians on commercial, domestic, and solar and battery installation projects across the Central Belt (Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding areas).
This role is ideal for candidates with construction site experience or previous work as an electrician’s mate looking to develop their career in the electrical or renewables sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with electrical installations on-site
- Cable pulling, cable tray, trunking
- Supporting solar PV installations and renewable energy projects
- Installation of batteries and components
- Loading and moving materials
- Maintaining a safe, clean working environment
- Following all UK health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Experience as an Electrician’s Mate, Electrical Labourer, or similar
- Valid CSCS or ECS card
- Good understanding of site work and basic electrical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to travel across Scotland
- Strong work ethic and team player
Desirable:
- Experience in Electrical industry
- Full UK driving licence
